Lucy focuses her practice in the areas of estate and trust planning, probate and trust administration, business planning and transactions, and business succession planning. She joined Connolly Law Offices (now Connolly & Rooney) after receiving her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2013, and became a Member and principal of the firm in 2017.

While at UNH Law, Lucy served as a judicial intern to Senior Associate Justice Gary E. Hicks of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. She was the recipient of the Simoneau Family Fellowship, which supported her internship with the Disabilities Rights Center in Concord, N.H., where she was involved in legal research and writing in various areas of the law. Lucy also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Legal Writing Program at UNH Law.

Prior to attending law school, Lucy earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in the honors history program at St. Lawrence University, with a minor in Spanish. She spent a semester studying abroad in London, U.K., where she interned as a law clerk with Hodge Jones & Allen LLP in the family law department.

Lucy is admitted to practice law in both New Hampshire and Vermont and is a member of the bar associations in both states.

Lucy currently serves on the New Hampshire Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee. Lucy is a member of the Trust & Estate Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, as well as the Corporation, Banking & Business Law Section and the Taxation Section. Lucy is also a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the New Hampshire chapter of NAELA.

Lucy lives in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region with her family. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family and friends, and outdoor activities of all sorts.
